Tomorrow Ticket is built to work with almost no personal information. Here's what that means in practice.
1. We collect as little as possible
Making a prediction never requires your real name, a profile picture, a biography, your location, or a phone number. The prediction itself — text, category, year, and confidence — is public by design.
2. What we do collect
Payment details are processed by our payment provider to charge the $1 fee; we don't store full card numbers ourselves. We may keep minimal technical information (like IP address at time of submission) for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and customer support. When you pay, we also record that you accepted our Terms and when. If you report a prediction, we store the reason, your optional note, and the time — not your identity.
3. Public by default
Prediction text, category, year, confidence, creation date, and agree/disagree counts are public and shown on individual prediction pages, the ticket board, search, and year pages. Don't include information you want to keep private in the prediction text itself.
4. Local data in your browser
This version of Tomorrow Ticket stores your submitted predictions and votes in your browser's local storage so you can see them again on this device. Clearing your browser data will remove that local record (the published prediction itself stays on the ticket board).
5. No selling of personal data
We don't sell personal information. Aggregate, de-identified statistics about predictions (like "most predicted category") may be published or used in research.
